DIY BUTTER SLIME without Clay!

We had to try SEVEN times to get this right. We were inspired by Cute Life Hacks video on YouTube so we followed her recipe. It did not work for us but with a few adjustments (liquid starch instead of saline solution and extra cornstarch, we finally got it right! Leave a comment if you spotted all of our pets in the video and let us know if you want more slime videos! They are so much fun to make.

Hi Guys! Welcome back to Bee You Neek! I’m Big B and we have a chihuahua here because we are babysitting him. So Yeah. And our dogs; they are communicating, so that’s why they “ooh ooh ooh ooh” Shut up!

Today we are going to be making Butter Slime! First you have to subscribe and then we will start so I will wait right here.

OK I’m glad you did that. So the first things you are going to need are 3 Tablespoons of glue. So I am going to take… OK Bye! So I am going to take 3 Tablespoons of glue.

Oh I also I got the idea from Cute Life Hacks. And she said you have to follow these directions like fully. So I did it EXACTLY a tablespoon of glue. Now another tablespoon.

OK now I did 3 tablespoons of glue and now I have to do 3 tablespoons of shaving cream. It expands.

Now we have to do a pinch of, or four pinches of baking soda. There we go. And then 3 teaspoons of water. There we go. And then we stir it.

And now I am going to take 3 tablespoons of pudding powder. I have vanilla from Jello brand. Smells like pudding. I wonder why. One. Two. Three. And you have to mix it very gentle so the air bubbles stay. It smells so good! It smells like Nilla Wafers!

It kind of looks like Butter Slime already! OK I mixed it and now we have to add two teaspoons of contact solution. So I mixed together the eye drops and I put in two more of tablespoons of shaving cream. Now I am mixing that together. I need more eye drops. I think I am going to have to do it over. Smells good.

That was a fail. Go away. So if a cat goes in the shot, I’m sorry. I can not do anything to help that. But yeah. So, we are going to re do it. We are going to take 3 tablespoons of glue. I might have done four last time. I’m not exactly sure. Three tablespoons of glue. OK! Woooo! OK.

OK. Now we are gong to do three tablespoons of shaving foam. So. Now we are going to mix it up. OK I’m going to do big pinches because I have little fingers. There we go. And now we are going to add three teaspoons of water. There we go. And we are going to mix it up. And it should look like melted ice cream. OK.

Now that it looks like melted ice cream. Now we are going to add the three tablespoons of pudding powder. I don’t think this is actually pudding. Cause it says Jello on it. It is different! This one is more yellow. But it is more powdery. Um three teaspoons I mean tablespoons. One.. I just put it in the other… I just put it in that jello. Now you now look it! You can see the color difference! It looks like an egg!

And now I am going to mix it until it looks like cake batter. This looks way better. It’s way more smooth than the other one. It does not look like cake batter.

OK Now I am going to add two teapsoons of co..Stir… Stir or mix? Now I am stirring the contact solution inside of this. Now I am going to add two more tablespoons of shaving foam. I think I am going to need a little bit more contact solution. It looks a little bit too runny.

OK. Now I am just going to add one teaspoon of baby oil. What even is baby oil? Does it come from babies? I think this is just basically fluffy slime.

I think we have to try this one more time. I wouldn’t call this one a fail Ijust don’t think it is bubble what do you call it butter slime. OK so that one didn’t work very well. Well I mean it is better than the other one. So this is the one I just made and it actually will you can actually play with it. Like it’s actually like slime. It’s SUPER liquidy. But yeah. And this one this one is not anything. So just shaving cream.

This one is instant so and this one was Cook and Serve so I think I am going to use Cook and Serve this time. So I am going to do three tablespoons of glue. And then I am going to add three tablespoons of shaving cream but this time I am going to level it off.

And then I am going to mix that together. I’m going to add four pinches again big pinches because I have small fingers. I’m going to add three teaspoons of water. I’m going to mix this together. And then it turns into melted ice cream. Which is does. That makes sense.

And then I am going to do three tablespoons of pudding powder. And then I am going to mix that together until it looks like cake batter. This one is kind of looking chunkier than the other one. OK. So there we go. And then I am going to add two teaspoons of contact solution. And then I am going to stir it. That’s not becoming slime. So this one’s a fail. It’s not even slime at all. It’s just becoming bubbly. What the heck is it doing? What’s wrong with this slime? I did everything right.

OK so that was my fourth attempt. Now we just went to Woodmans and we picked up some items and we found the same pudding that girl used um Cute Life Hacks and it’s way different than this and it’s the first ingredient in this is cornstarch and the first ingredient in this is sugar and modified cornstarch. So this one should work better.

Let’s start all over again. After like five attempts. Four attempts. So three tablespoons of glue. Now I am going to add three tablespoons of shaving foam. And then I am going to add four pinches of baking soda.

Now we bought different baking soda cause my mom said this wasn’t like she brushes her teeth with this and she said it doesn’t really taste like baking soda and it doesn’t really feel like baking soda so we bought real baking soda that we know is baking soda. ha ha!

Now we are going to add four pinches. I already added one. Three! And now we are going to stir it until it looks like melted ice cream. Now we are going to add three tablespoons of pudding powder. So let’s I got this pudding. It’s the same kind Cute Life Hacks used. Oh gosh. OK. Well these pants are like ruined. Shush up! Three!

And then I am going to mix this together. Well this is like cake batter wait no I don’t know. Oh hi dog. You on the table? Cool. So it is making it colorful and it makes it a very light um color. So that’s very good. It smells exactly the same as the other one which is very good. It smells very good.

And we also might like oopsie we might actually try to make this like actually make actual pudding not this but actually pudding because my mom wants to try it. But um two teaspoons of contact solution.

I am going to stir that. I hope this works. It looks better than the last one. Thats for sure. It looks more like slime. Now I have to add two more tablespoons of shaving cream. Stir that together. More like slime but not really like butter slime. I don’t know what butter slime is supposed to look like. I think this one was a butter slime fail too. It’s not butter slime. It’s more like fluffy slime. Yeah no, this is not butter slime. It’s good slime though. But it’s not butter slime so I’m going to have to do it again.

She said butter slime holds its shape and its matte. Its not…

OK so that one was also a fail so we are going to try again but this time we are going to level off the glue I mean the shaving cream. Now we are going to take three tablespoons of shaving foam. Three tablespoons that are leveled off.

And now we are going to take four pinches of baking soda. There we go. And now we will add three teaspoons of water and then it should look like melted ice cream. Three tablespoons of pudding mix. Now I am going to take two teaspoons of contact solution. On to the 6th attempt! This one’s better but still not butter slime.

On to the next batch. Today we wasted a ton of glue. Thumper attacked him! One, Two, Three. One, Two. Nope this one is a fail one. I’m not even going to try. Look at this. It’s like the same exact one as the third time. I don’t want to do this anymore. It’s poofy and white now! Whoa it feels like a cloud! It’s so light! Whoa I just added way too much. Whoa look at this! This is clay now! It’s clay now. I made clay! That’s kind of what butter slime is. Look at it. This is clay. This isn’t, I don’t think this is really butter slime. It’s really cool though. It’s not right! I promise. It’s not right but it’s not wrong. Well see it’s not… Eyah I can’t even. Look at this. Haaahhhhh. That’s it. One more time and then I am going to be done. But it’s super cool though. And I’m not throwing this batch away. Gasp! I forgot to add baby oil! She said it makes it more stretchy.

Three hours later, I am covered in slime and baby powder and my cat is now white. And my table is a mess. And this bowl is ruined. This is the BEST stuff I ever made. It’s so cool! You should make this. This isn’t even. I’m doing one more attempt because it still not like butter slime. I put like a ton of cornstarch so yass it’s super cool. It’s not butter slime. But it still is really cool. It’s clay. It’s like almost exactly like clay. I wonder if it’s air dry clay. I wonder if I just made air dry clay.

I’m going to gasp that was too much. One. Two. Three. And then I am going to take this and wipe it down and then we will take three tablespoons of shaving cream. There we go. I should probably use that big blob of shaving cream that’s on our table. And then I stir this. OK and then I add 4 pinches of baking soda. And then I am going to add three tablespoons of water. And then I am going to stir that together and it should look like melted ice cream.

Pretty good. And then I am going to add three tablespoons of the pudding powder. And now I am going to stir it together. OK so that’s a good mix And then I’m going to add two teaspoons of liquid starch instead of the contact solution. One Two. And we are going to mix this together.

Now I am going to add just a little amount of cornstarch at a time. I think I might have gotten the consistency right. Let’s see if it cuts it with a knife. Make it into a stick of butter. Hiyah Hiyah Hiyah Hiyah It’s like cheese slime.

So I think that after like six attempts, I finally have BUTTER SLIME. It feels super cool. Now what I did was I did

Three Teaspoons (sic) TBSP of glue
Three Teaspoons (sic) TBSP of shaving cream
Four pinches of Baking Soda
Three Teaspoons of water
Three Tablespoons of pudding powder
Two Teaspoons of Liquid Starch
and then I just started adding random amounts of cornstarch and now it works!
